This heavy-duty workhorse of a machine (#4010) is covered by six different U.S. patents. Originally designed for use in a winery, this machine removes corks quickly and effortlessly. Compact, initially designed to be wall-mounted, but now there is an optional aluminum table stand, making it portable (30.3 lbs. total, machine and stand). Partial cork extraction regulator allows you to leave part of the cork in the bottle neck to be removed manually later. Extracts even the most resistant corks whether natural, composite, or synthetic. All components are self-contained within the unit. Weight:18 lbs. Height: 26"(66 cm); Width:4.75"(12 cm); Depth:4.5"(11 cm) Extension of Bottle Guide below: 7-1/2" (19 cm).
The Electropull® has been field tested for more than two years by several large California wineries. One winery-packaging specialist in California comments, "In just two months, we uncorked over 50,000 bottles using the Electropull® and it's performance was flawless. We also used it in our lab when performing microanalysis and opened bottles with all types of corks. Not only is the Electropull® fast and efficient, but I believe it will reduce injuries associated with uncorking motions. It definietly has a place in any wine-bottling department."
When quantity uncorking is needed, Electropull® will:
1. Reduce manpower needed to do the job.
2. Reduce chances of workman's comp injuries resulting from repetitive uncorking with other devices.
Features:
1. Convertible Bottle Guide - Rotate 90 degrees for 1.5 liter bottles.
2. Partial Cork Extraction Regulator - The Partial Cork Extraction Regulator slides up and down to adjust for partial or full cork extraction. Maximum extraction: 2-1/8". Minimum extraction: 1-3/8". This allows you to leave part of the cork inserted into the bottle for manual extraction later. During a partial extraction, the wine is not exposed to air during the extraction process.
3. Precision Micro-circuitry - Two different motors (turning and up/down) are coordinated for the best extraction. The machine self-adjusts to exert more initial thrust on hard corks. A safety micro-switch will shut the machine down if someone places a metal capped bottle in the cradle.
4. Heavy Duty Aluminum Table Stand - Easy to Assemble.
